Tribal Night For Papa Diarra Zumana

We are saddened to report the loss of our beloved friend and Baobab Stage regular drummer/musician, Papa Diarra Zumana. He passed away peacefully  on June 1, 2022, in California.  On Saturday, July 30th at 8 pm, Baobab Stage will be hosting a Tribal  Night Tribute fundraiser show in Papa's honor. The show will include live drumming, dancing, singing, and performances from various world cultures as well as memories shared by the community about Papa. Doors will open at 7 pm.  All proceeds from the show and any donations received will be given directly to Papa's family to help with burial costs and other support needed to take care of his son, elderly mother, and siblings.  We hope to have everyone come out to celebrate and memorialize Papa's life here in Las Vegas and we appreciate the community's support in continuing his legacy and taking care of his family.
